The Missionary Servants of the Word from Kenya, under the auspices of the Catholic Biblical Federation, have successfully completed a project that is made possible by the funding provided by Aid to the Church in Need International. On 1 January 1982, the Verbum Bible publishing house was founded with the project of publishing the Bible in Lingala, one of the most widely spoken languages in the Democratic Republic of Congo, especially in its capital, Kinshasa, and in the north-west of the country. The annual meeting took place11-13 February 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya of the Executive Committee of BICAM which is also the coordinating body of the Africa Region of the Catholic Biblical Federation.
