CBF Publications
From its foundation, the Catholic Biblical Federation has accompanied its mission with the written word. For many years the General Secretariat edited and published books and printed documents at the service of the biblical apostolate; today, this publishing tradition continues in digital form, with all publications offered free of charge to members of the Federation and to the wider public.
This section gathers the publications of the CBF General Secretariat, organised in two series. CBF Documents collects guidelines and foundational texts for the Biblical Animation of the entire Pastoral Ministry of the Church. Contextual Readings of the Bible, the Federation's new academic series produced with the Biblical-Pastoral Association "Verbum Domini", offers scholarly re-readings of Scripture from within the world's diverse cultural contexts — beginning with Volume 1, Culture, Bible, Identity: Christian Faith and Interculturality (2026).
Each publication can be read online or downloaded free of charge.
