The Executive Committee of the CBF, in its online meeting on April 12, 2022, admitted the Escuela Biblica Católica Yeshu'a of Medellín (Colombia) as an associate member of the Catholic Biblical Federation.
The Asian Catholic Church mourns the death of Father Jacob Theckanath, a 79-year-old Indian priest, who played a significant role in evangelization. Father Jacob Theckanath, former CBF South Asia Regional Coordinator (1990-2002) and former executive secretary of Federation of Asian Bishops Conferences (FABC) Office of Evangelization (OE), died on November 28.

The Biblical Federation in the Middle East is deeply saddened by the passing from this earthly existence of one of its members, Fr. Peter Madros; he has now entered the heavenly glory at the age of 71, after a life totally devoted to pastoral and academic work in the service of the Word.
