Visit from Mexico

Monsignor Adolfo Miguel Castaño Fonseca, Bishop of Azcapotzalco and Chairman of the Biblical Pastoral Dimension of the Episcopal Commission for Prophetic Pastoral Ministry of the Mexican Bishops' Conference, was our guest at the offices of the CBF General Secretariat in Vatican City.

Monsignor Adolfo, who will end his mandate as Director of the Biblical Pastoral Dimension in November, shared with us the rich experience of articulating and developing biblical pastoral animation in Mexico. We hope to soon be able to offer this experience in written form, so that it can serve as a reference for other Episcopal Conferences that are members of the Catholic Biblical Federation.

Our illustrious guest gave us a copy of the Biblia de la Iglesia en América (BIA), in which Monsignor Adolfo worked as coordinator of the New Testament. May God reward you, Monsignor!
