CBF Central America and Mexico Zone has a new Zonal Coordinator
Sister María del Socorro Becerra Molina HMSP was appointed as the new Zonal Coordinator of the CBF Central America and Mexico Zone. Sister María del Socorro is the successor of Fr. Eric Joel Obaldía Félix, C.M. who served as the zonal coordinator for the last 3 years.
María del Socorro Becerra Molina, HMSP (Missionary Sister Servant of the Word) is a native of Tacámbaro, Michoacán (Mexico). She is the executive secretary of the department of Biblical Animation of Pastoral Ministry. She has been in consecrated life for 28 years. She has a doctorate from the UPM and teaches at the UPM, at Lumen Gentium and at the St. Luke Seminary of the MSP. She is also the general coordinator of a Bible translation project.
