The South-East Asia Subregion of the Catholic Biblical Federation organised a teleconference on the topic: "The Church, the Word of God and the World in a Pandemic Crisis: Coping with the Crisis in the Light of Scriptures and Envisioning a New Normal in the Aftermath". The conference took place on StreamYard platform on October 28, 2020 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM Philippine time and was streamed on Youtube and Facebook and had over 600 followers.
In the invitation to the event the coordinator of the CBF Sub-Region of South-East Asia, Dr. Natividad Pagadut, wrote "As we all know, 2020 was proclaimed by the President of the Catholic Biblical Federation, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, as the Year of the Word. Practically since the beginning of this year we are in a pandemic but this situation should not deter us from spreading and reflecting on the Word of God. In fact it should lead us to a deeper reflection on the Word vis-a-vis our present situation".
The keynote speaker was His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.
