The annual meeting of the Catholic Biblical Association of Sri Lanka took place in Kandy from September 11 to 13, 2018.

Nearly 30 biblical scholars from all over the country gathered at its annual Congress. The special guest was Professor Jean Luis Ska, professor emeritus of the Pontifical Biblical Institute, who shared in several sessions his studies and reflections on the Jacob's Cycle. The General Secretary of the Catholic Biblical Federation, who was another of the special guests, introduced the Catholic Biblical Federation and its most recent projects and initiatives to the participants.
