Opening of the Year of the Word of God in Taiwan

On November 23, Bishop Hsu Yao Wen of Taichung Diocese, Taiwan solemnly opened the Year of the Word of God with a Eucharistic celebration.

It begun with the veneration of the bible to symbolize the presence of the Word of God within his people, as He had promised: “I am with you always, to the end of the age.”(Mt 28:20).

The celebration continued with a bible seminar on the gospel of John led Fr. Tarsisius Sigho, SVD.
