On 12 April the Executive Committee of the Catholic Biblical Federation held its regular online meeting.

The Committee's agenda focused on the extension of the mandate of the Federation's officials due to the postponement of the Plenary Assembly for another year because of the health situation.

The challenges for the Catholic Biblical Federation and its Regions in the current difficult global situation were also discussed.

A new institution - Escuela Bíblica Católica Yeshu’a from Medellín (Colombia) - was admitted as an associate member of the CBF.

With this new addition, the Catholic Biblical Federation has 334 member institutions from 126 countries around the world: 98 Bishops' Conferences as Full Members and 236 other Catholic institutions as Associate Members.
