On the occasion of the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord, a virtual conference was offered, where two biblical scholars representing two different contexts, have guided us in the deepening of our understanding of the meaning of this feast, and of the invocation of Mary "Mother of the Word", in the light of the Bible.
On 20th March 2021 the Catholic Biblical Association of Great Britain hosted the launch of the English translation of the new document of the Pontifical Biblical Commission, What is Man? A Journey Through Biblical Anthropology. The speaker was Professor Nuria Calduch-Benages, professor of Old Testament at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and newly appointed secretary of the Commission.
Sub-region of Southern and Western Europe and Central European sub-region the of the Catholic Biblical Federation organised a teleconference on the topic: ""The Prophecy of the Gospel for the Life of All" - Towards the Sunday of the Word of God".
The South-East Asia Region of the Catholic Biblical Federation has sponsored a teleconference on the topic: "The Church, the Word of God and the World in a Pandemic Crisis: Coping with the Crisis in the Light of Scriptures and Envisioning a New Normal in the Aftermath". The keynote speaker was His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.
