L'Église catholique asiatique regrette la mort du P. Jacob Theckanath, prêtre indien décédé le 28 novembre à l’âge de 79 ans. Il avait joué un important rôle dans l'évangélisation comme il a été le coordinateur régional de la FBC de l'Asie du Sud de 1990 à 2002 et ancien Secrétaire Exécutif du bureau d'évangélisation (OE) de la Fédération des Conférences Épiscopales d'Asie (FABC).
NBCLC, Bangalore, a organisé un « Cours de Bible en quatre semaines » sur son campus de Bangalore, du 30 août au 25 septembre 2021. L'objectif du cours était d'approfondir ses connaissances dans la « Parole de Dieu », l'utiliser dans la prière, la méditation et témoigner dans la société de la vie chrétienne.
